The Competition Continues

We’ve been so busy lately with competitions like the Oral Business Plan, Business Cards, More Fm Add, Business Plan that we’ve forgotten to update the blog for awhile.

Business Plan
We received an overall mark of 90%.
We are coming 1st within the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

Oral Business Plan
We were a clear winner in our region; however our score has not yet been released, so watch this space to find out.
The presentation of the Oral Business Plan dragged us out of our comfort zone and had us outlining our business to the judges.

Newspaper Articles
Lately we have received a bit of media attention with our wins and have had articles in the Opotiki News, The Whakatane Beacon and we also had a mention in the Eastern Bay News in an article about another team.

Product Launch

Our product launch was also a big hit! We performed skit at the Opotiki College Celebration Night which is held every two years to showcase student success. It was a lot of fun, brought the Kei Te Pai team even closer, and was a great opening to the night. Together we planned and practiced the skit endlessly and even rented a smoke machine to suit the misty, scary effect we were going for. We had the crowd right where we wanted them, laughing and watching our every move, fully understanding the point we were aiming to get across.

Proof of this was an order which arrived just two days later with a cheque for two copies of Kei Te Pai on the Marae. We also were approached by the Mayor of Opotiki, John Forbes who was very interested in our product and offered his help to market it to local government.
