Global Enterprise Challenge 2007

Hey my name is Matthew Cairns from Opotiki College.

I am the Sales Director of Kei Te Pai and was chosen to represent the Eastern Bay of Plenty at the Global Enterprise Challenge. The Global Enterprise Challenge was held on 16-19 June at Massey University on the North Shore, Auckland. The Global Enterprise Challenge is like everything you do at school for Young Enterprise squashed into one day! While attending The Challenge I met loads of cool people and listened to very inspirational and motivational speakers such as Chris Dodds, and Dwayne Smith. I also listened to a speech made by the Leader of the National Party, John Key, and met the Chief Executive of Enterprise New Zealand Donna Dentice.

I believe that the Global Enterprise Challenge is seriously one of the best things that you can do while at high school, in terms of business. I highly recommend that if given the chance to attend future Global Enterprise Challenge's that you take up this very rewarding opportunity.
