New Zealand Business Week, Palmerston North

Hi, I'm Alicia Gleeson the Financial Director of Kei Te Pai.

I've recently returned to Opotiki after one week in Palmerston North taking part in the International New Zealand Business Week. It was a week full of exciting and educational lectures by promising icons of New Zealand Business. This mixed with team building, time consuming activities ie bowling and creating a competitive stall for the Trade Fair kept us busy from 6am till 11pm each day.

The week proved to be very interesting and informative, and had me mingling with strangers from all over New Zealand, who are now friends. I had to put into practice skills and techniques for a wide range of business attributes. In conclusion, it was a lot of fun, and I am already benefiting from the experience, gaining a small scholarship, heaps of new friends, and clearer opinions about future entrepreneurship. I would thoroughly recommend this for next year to anyone interested in a career in business.
